The District was created in February of 2000 by the San Luis Obispo Board of Supervisors and included the San Miguel Fire Protection District, San Miguel Lighting District, and the SLO Waterworks District #1. In April 2001, the SLO County Board of Supervisors dissolved the San Miguel Sanitary District (Sewer and Solid Waste) and incorporated those services into the CSD.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE San Miguel Community Services District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on:

Thursday, June 25, 2015, 7:00 P.M., 1150 Mission Street to consider the following:

1. Adopting Ordinance No. 2015-01, Establishing Water Conservation Regulations and A Water Shortage Management Plan for all properties within the District water service areas.

Description:
To consider approving and adopting a district-wide ordinance that establishes the following:

A consistent and minimum reliable water supply is essential to the public health, safety and welfare of the people and community of San Miguel.

The proposed ordinance will enact rules, regulations and standards for water conservation and establish a shortage management plan governing all properties within the District boundaries.

The proposed ordinance will enact voluntary and mandatory measures for water conservation and sets forth a District Shortage Management Plan needed to conserve water and to be implemented during times of declared shortage and/or emergencies as may be determined by actions, declarations or orders of the State of California and/or the Board of Directors.

Proposed Environmental Determination:

Categorical Exemption, Class 7, Regulatory Action Taken to Protect Natural Resource.

A copy of the Categorical Exemption form is available at District office and available upon request or at the District website. District contact information is: www.sanmiguelcsd.org or phone – (805) 467-3388.

Interested persons are invited to be present at the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to speak in favor or in opposition to the above-proposed ordinance. Written comments are also acceptable, if submitted or delivered to the District office prior to the public hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE San Miguel Community Services District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on:

Thursday, June 25, 2015, 7:00 P.M., 1150 Mission Street to consider the following:

1. Adopting a Resolution of the Board of Directors of the San Miguel Services District approving and adopting
the 2015 report of delinquent sewer /water charge and authorizing delinquent water and sewer service charges
to be collected on tax roll.

Description:

On May 11, 2015 in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 5473.1, the District Account Clerk mailed letters to owners of real property notifying them of the District’s intent to have delinquent water and sewer services charges placed on the 2015-2016 County tax roll for collection, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 5473 and 5473a by filing a written report with the Auditor-Controller’s office of the County of San Luis Obispo, containing a description of each parcel of real property with delinquent water and sewer service charges and the owner.

Interested persons are invited to be present at the public hearing at which time all interested persons will be
given the opportunity to present oral or written testimony for or against said report. If you elect to attend the
Public hearing, please be advised that any written info to be given to the Board of Directors must be provided to the District on or before June 18th 2015. Written comments, by you, may chose to explain why you are
disputing the charges.
