Director from 2013 to Present
A 24 year resident of San Miguel, I have served the San Miguel volunteer Fire Department 20 years. Was elected as a trustee and served 14 years on the San Miguel Joint Union School District during which time the Board constructed the much needed Gymnasium at Lillian Larsen and built Cappy Culver Elementary school for the lake community.
In 2012 I was elected to the San Miguel Community services, in which time I have served as Board President and chaired on 2 standing committees. My goals as a Board member are to achieve accountability and transparency within the CSD, support staff in the successful operations of the District while maintaining fiscal responsibility and excellent customer service.
Some additional endeavors and achievements of mine during my residency are, Community Clean up participant, Parade Committee Member, restoration of the San Miguel Fire Department’s antique ladder wagon and 1937 Fire truck and Founder of the San Miguel Firefighters Association.
I feel blessed to live in the Community of San Miguel and am proud to have been elected to serve it.
